Each year the committee gives a vehicle to a local veteran, active-duty service member, immediate family member or caregiver whose need is greatest. The selection is made by the committee based on immediate need and how much the vehicle would help.
Applications are accepted through October 31st by email to [email protected], online at durangoautomotiverepair.com/community, or dropped off at VFW Post 4031, 1550 Main Ave, Durango.
A DD214 or other supporting documentation of military service must be attached. The recipient is announced at the Veterans Benefit Breakfast on Sunday, November 15th at 9:00 AM at VFW Post 4031 — you must be present to win.
